Graduate of the Francisco Ferrer High School with a master degree in Fashion

Design, Léa

Rosamilia lives in Charleroi.

Her graduation collection, Not in My Name, addresses the current refugee crisis.

Lea was inspired by many young people she has met over the past four years

who have

been forced to leave their homes in the hope of finding a better and safer life.

Her collection is intended to bring hope, solidarity, inclusion but also revolt and

injustice.

Every day, people around the wor

ld make the most difficult decision of their lives :

leaving home in the hope of finding a better and safer life.

Four years ago, I have been able to meet many young people on the road to

exile.

decided to make it the subject of my collection as a senior fashion designer

student at the

HEFF in Brussels.

This collection is intended to bring hope, solidarity, integration but also revolt

and injustice.

It was then obvious to me to name my collection NOT IN MY NAME

(poster campaign denouncing migration policy in Belgium)
